记得有一次参加英语演讲比赛，由于准备不够充分，我在台上紧张得几乎说不出话来。那一刻，我感到非常沮丧，甚至怀疑自己是否适合做一名国际交流者。但是，我的导师告诉我：“失败并不可怕，可怕的是你因为害怕失败而停止尝试。”这句话让我重新振作起来，也让我明白了一个道理：成功并非一蹴而就，而是需要不断挑战自我、超越自我。

从那以后，我更加注重积累知识和提升能力。除了课堂上的学习，我还积极参加各种实践活动，比如模拟联合国会议、跨文化交流项目等。这些经历不仅丰富了我的视野，还锻炼了我的沟通技巧和团队合作精神。如今，当我再次站在讲台上时，我已经能够从容应对各种突发状况，并且享受其中的乐趣。

Dream Power

Everyone has his own dream, which is our driving force and the goal of life. My dream is to become an excellent international communicator, connecting the world more closely through the bridge of language. To achieve this dream, I have made great efforts. Every morning, I get up an hour earlier to practice spoken English; at night, I review what I learned during the day and preview the next day's content. Although the process is very hard, whenever I think that I am closer to my dream, all fatigue will vanish.

Once, I participated in an English speech contest. Due to insufficient preparation, I was so nervous on stage that I could hardly speak. At that moment, I felt very depressed and even doubted whether I was suitable for being an international communicator. However, my tutor told me: "Failure is not scary, what's scary is that you stop trying because you are afraid of failure." This sentence made me reinvigorate and also let me understand a truth: success is not achieved overnight, but requires constant challenging and surpassing oneself.

Since then, I have paid more attention to accumulating knowledge and improving abilities. In addition to classroom learning, I actively participate in various practical activities, such as Model United Nations meetings, cross-cultural exchange projects, etc. These experiences not only enriched my horizons but also trained my communication skills and team spirit.
